    Description :

    A Multi Cultural Fiesta ‘ODYSSEY’ organized by G.D. Global School was inaugurated at the college premises on 2 December 2017. The Chief Guest at the inaugural, Mr. Bal Mukund Mishra, Eminent Historian, congratulated the college management for organizing such a mega event, which involved participants of every age at the very fourth year since its inception. In his addressing, Mr. Mishra congratulated the students for bringing name and fame for the Institute and also the members of the Management, Principal, Teaching & Non-teaching Staff members and the students for the laudable efforts in organizing this mega event. He expressed hopes of achieving many more such laurels to the Institute in the future. Principal of the institute, Mr. Vidhan Tiwari welcomed the gathering and the management. Following the formal program, various events such as Indian & western Group dance, Solo dance, Mime, Instrumental music, Indian & Western Solo singing, Duet singing, Rangoli, Face painting and Event photography were held at different venues simultaneously. There were more than 150 registered participants for all the above events. Anxiety was high among students and teachers before the performances and exhilaration after. Overall it was a day that became permanently etched in the memories of the hosts and visitors alike.

  • Athletic Sports Meet - 2017

    Description :

    “The moment of victory is much too short to live for that and nothing else,” said Martina Navratilova, a tennis player. Apart from commemorating victories, sports meets also aim at imparting lessons on sportsman spirit and camaraderie to children. Upholding this aspect of the sporting event, Annual Athletic Meet 2017 – 18 was organized for the students of the classes IV-XII at SCHOOL PREMISES on Thursday, January 18, 2018. Chief Guest, S.O. Traffic, Azamgarh graced the event. The inauguration commenced at 8:25 am with the March Past led by the School Head girl, Ms. Roshna Narayan along with the four respective House Captains and their team members. The students marched proudly with military precision and perfect synchronization in their house colours to the tune of the School Band. This was followed with an invocation song in praise of the Lord for seeking his guidance and thanking him for blessing us this new day. A team of students greeted all with the traditional Indian welcome dance forms basically – Bharatanatyam, Mohini Attam, and Kathak. The Principal, Mr. Vidhan Tiwari then welcomed the gathering, the founder Shri Ganshyam Das Ji Agrawal and introduced the Chief Guest, S.O. Traffic. The crowd witnessed the arrival of the torch carried by our athletes and handed over to the chief guest. They then lit the Flame. The Sports teacher Mr. Pawan Pandey led the oath taking ceremony, all the students pledging to inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship within them. The chief guest declared the Annual Athletic Meet 2017-18 open by releasing the doves, to a thunderous applause from all. He later addressed the gathering and stressed on team-spirit along with the need of being the good citizens of India and representing our country with pride and dignity. The winners of various team games were awarded with medals by the Chief Guest. The formal inaugural function came to an end with Shri Ghanshyam Das Ji giving the vote of thanks. The athletes competed with each other in various events such as 100m, 200m, and 400m races. The students enthusiastically also took part in shot-put, long jump and high jump. The students had much to cheer for during the Inter-House Grand Relay among the four houses. The students cried themselves hoarse in support of their respective houses. Individual Champions – Boys Sub – Junior category (Class IV – V) – Abhijit R Shetty of Class V A Junior category (Class VI – VII) – Hashir Sheikh Suleman of Class VII C Intermediate Category (Class VIII – IX) – Shaun Ferrao of class IX B Senior Category (Class X – XII) – Amaan H.A of Class X B Individual Champions – Girls Sub – Junior category (Class IV – V) – Sweedle D’Souza of Class V A Junior category (Class VI – VII) – Rochelle Pias of Class VI B Intermediate Category (Class VIII – IX) – Hima G Shetty and Hita G Shetty of class IX A Senior Category (Class X – XII) – Amanda Frank of Class X B March Past Winners VI – X – Bluebells won the first place and Tulips won the second place. In the Senior-Secondary section class XII won the first place and class XI got the second place. Grand Relay – VIII – IX Boys – Bluebells won the first place and runners-up position was taken by the Orchids Girls – Bluebells won the first place and runners-up position was taken by the Anthuriums Grand Relay – X – XII Boys – The first place bagged by class XII and Tulips bagged the runner-up position. Girls – The first place bagged by class XII and Bluebells bagged the runner-up position. The Overall Championship was clinched by the Bluebells House members

  • Republic Day 2017 at GDGS

    GDGS Every year celebrates Republic day. Preparations for the 69th Republic day [26 Jan 2018] was in full swing in the school campus. G.D. Global School, Azamgarh organized the InterHouse Singing & Dancing Competition on 26th Jan. this year. The main thrust was towards stirring the imagination and providing a pedestal for innovation, exploration, and aesthetics. The young participants spun magic which pulled the strings in the heart, mind, and soul of the audience unleashing the forces within. The occasion was graced by Mr. Ajay Kumar Mishra, The Music Teacher K.V. Azamgarh, as the Chief Guest. Chairman Mr. T. P. Aggarwal, Director Ms. Swati Aggarwal, Manager Mr. Gaurav Agarwal presented the memento & souvenirs to the distinguished guest. Principal Mr. Vidhan Tiwari welcomed the gathering on the occasion and appreciated the participation of various participants providing an insight in the successful dimensions of performances. The distinguished chief guest gave their signatures as a mark of remembrance for the grand event and congratulated the entire school fraternity to put up such a brilliant show. The event ended with many overwhelming memories and sound echoing in the hearts of people.
